Pins may be removed after moderator revision if:

• They contain hate speech (including speech that attacks a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, gender expression, ability, or sexual orientation).
• They contain obscene, suggestive, vulgar, profane (including insinuated profanity using dashes or asterisks), threatening, disrespectful, defamatory, or libelous language.
• They do not relate whatsoever to Bowdoin or the Bowdoin experience (including spam, commercial promotion, and incoherence).
• They include personally identifying/sensitive information.
• They are a duplicate of a previously posted pin.
• They are blank (a pin without any main text).

Bowdoin Moments strives to be as consistent as possible in moderation, but final judgments are the subjective decision of the moderators. Bowdoin Moments reserves the right to delete any pin for any reason. Please fill out the feedback form if you have any issues, questions, or think a certain pin violates the policy above. Due to the high volume of pins, Bowdoin Moments may not be able to respond to inquiries related to specific moderation decisions.
